LIIV is dedicated to transforming the way people experience home. Through innovative design and construction of modern Additional Dwelling Units (ADUs) and custom homes, the company creates thoughtfully curated spaces for discerning clients. LIIV’s mission is to revolutionize the meaning of ‘home’, making it accessible, adaptable, and aligned with the evolving real estate landscape.

LIIV offers clients an elevated turnkey experience that includes: design concept, space planning and programming, design development, construction drawings/documents, furniture/millwork design, finishes/furniture/equipment specification, external consultant coordination, and construction management, custom furniture & fixture design.

Diane Paz and Lindsay Stokoe, founders of LIIV, bring a wealth of experience and a dynamic approach to the world of modern home design and real estate. Diane, an award-winning graduate from Ontario College of Art + Design, boasts a twenty-year career in high-end design, including work with international clients like Le Meridien, Neiman Marcus, and Nation Towers Abu Dhabi. Lindsay's background in Interior Design, Communications, and Finance has fuelled a versatile career, spanning from finance to franchise operations and real estate investing, where her design sensibilities enhance property value and market appeal. Together, they have set out to redefine homeownership with LIIV, blending Lindsay’s strategic and design expertise with Diane’s global design perspective to create spaces that resonate with discerning clients.

FounderDiane Paz has a twenty-year career which has continually built upon receiving the prestigious Gold Medal award upon graduating from the Environmental Design program at internationally renowned Ontario College of Art + Design in 2000.
Her steadfast commitment to creativity and groundbreaking aesthetics has made her vision a coveted asset working in world-class design studios like burdifilek, Cecconi Simone + Yabupushelberg.
Prior to founding MAPA, Diane worked on various National and International accounts including: Le Meridien, Four Points by Sheraton, Horseshoe Valley Resort + Conference Centre, Pantages Hotel + Condominium, Nation Towers Abu Dhabi, Neiman Marcus, Esprit, Telus, Bath + Body Works.
Having lived and worked in North America, Europe and Asia, her lengthy resume offers MAPA clients a broad perspective on cutting-edge design + international project management as well as an invaluable understanding of the shifting global market.
With her extensive portfolio focused on commercial, hospitality + multi-residential design, Diane’s cultivated aesthetic and business experience brings clients uncompromising design that makes an impact on well-heeled consumers.

FounderWith a diverse educational foundation in Interior Design, Communications, and Finance, Lindsay has cultivated a multifaceted career that spans several dynamic industries. Her journey began with a passion for design, which was nurtured through rigorous study in Interior Design. This creative pursuit was complemented by her studies in Communications, where she honed her skills in effective messaging and relationship building, and Finance, which equipped her with a solid understanding of economic principles and financial management.
Lindsay's career trajectory has been anything but linear, reflecting her wide-ranging interests and capabilities. She has accumulated valuable experience in the finance sector, where she developed a keen eye for investment opportunities and financial strategy. Her foray into franchise operations allowed her to understand the complexities of running and scaling businesses, while her ventures in real estate investing provided a practical financial acumen with a deep understanding of market dynamics, leveraging her design background to maximize property value and ensure top-dollar sales.
Currently, Lindsay serves as a Project Manager at MAPA interiors inc., a role that synthesizes her diverse skill set and experiences. In this capacity, she leverages her background in design, her strategic communication skills, and financial expertise to oversee projects from conception to completion. This role not only allows her to indulge her passion for design but also enables her to draw upon all the skills she has developed over the years, ensuring successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.
Through her varied career, Lindsay has demonstrated a consistent ability to adapt, learn, and excel in different environments. She is driven by a passion for continuous growth and a commitment to leveraging her unique blend of skills to contribute meaningfully to every project she undertakes.
